Writing About My Kiddos

I have always loved to write. My mom would sometimes tell her friends that when I was in 4th grade, I would often ask her to proofread my English essays but then she would always end up not changing anything because I seem to write better than her. I don’t know if she was just exaggerating, haha! Oh, well, here I am trying to pursue my passion in writing through blogging.

I’ve been blogging for several years now but I am what you can call a now-you-see-now-you-don’t kind of blogger. I can never seem to be consistent with it. So I decided to merge writing with my most priced possessions – my two adorable kids!

I live for them so I thought why not write about them? I’ve seen several mommy blogs and all of them are wonderful in their own ways. But what makes me different? I am a simple, small town mom, I guess. I don’t have a big, beautiful house (yet, haha!) to show off in my Gallery section. I am not going to write about the wonderful outfit my kids would wear everyday. You won’t always see pictures of amazing, gourmet food on our table or of us dining in a fancy restaurant. I can’t afford expensive vacations either so please be advised that I won’t be blogging about it.

So, I guess, that is what separates me from other mommy bloggers – I would be the epitome of an everyday housewife living for the moment and making the most of what she’s got…and what I got right here are my two lovable munchkins and their ever sweet dad.
